Multi-Engine
Obtaining your Multi-Engine Add-on is a milestone as a pilot! This certificate provides you the ability to fly aircraft with advance capabilities and performance. Many multi-engine pilots pursue careers as Charter Pilots and with corporate flight departments that require this skill. Requirements:
- Able to read, write, and converse fluently in English.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Hold at least a 3rd Class FAA Medical Certificate
- Hold an Instrument Rating (for an unrestricted Multi-Engine Rating).
- Receive and log ground training from an authorized instructor.
Flight Time
Accumulate proper flight experience and instruction to proficiency.
Flight Test
Successfully complete a practical (flight) test, which will be given as a final exam by an FAA Inspector or designated pilot examiner.
